Student Internships

At SBS International School Chiangmai, we believe that real-world experience is an essential part of preparing students for future success. To ensure our students are ready to thrive in a competitive global workforce, we have established a strong Internship Programme for Year 10–13 students.

Partnerships and MoUs with Leading Industries

We are proud to announce that SBS has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with leading partners in diverse fields, further enriching and strengthening our Upper Secondary Programme.

Through these collaborations, our students gain access to real-world learning, specialized training, and hands-on experiences across multiple industries, including:

These partnerships are designed to help students develop future-ready skills, broaden their academic and career pathways, and foster creativity and innovation throughout their learning journey.

Work Experience Requirements

All Year 10–13 students are required to complete a minimum of 20 hours of internship or work experience at a local business or organization.

Students may select placements in fields that match their interests and aspirations. Whether they are engaged in hands-on training or observational roles, students will gain meaningful insights into professional environments and responsibilities.

Collaboration with Local Businesses

Before any placement, the SBS Internship Committee visits each partner business to ensure a good match between our students’ learning goals and the organization’s expectations.

We aim to create mutually beneficial partnerships—our students gain valuable experience while our partner businesses receive motivated and capable interns who bring fresh perspectives and enthusiasm.

Opportunities for External Applicants

In addition to our own students, SBS Chiangmai also welcomes applications from University students or Year 10–13 students from other schools who wish to complete internships at our campus.

If you are considering a career in education, this is an excellent opportunity to gain practical teaching experience and learn from qualified, experienced educators.
